How to register a death
The death of a British citizen in Poland may be registered at the Consular Section but this is not obligatory. A British-style death certificate will be issued. Records of Consular deaths are permanently maintained at the General Register Offices in United Kingdom.
How to apply to register the death of a British citizen in Poland:
- Complete Death Registration Form (doc, 20 KB);
- Provide the Polish death certificate;
- Show us the British passport, which we will cancel and return; and
- Pay fee No. 14 and 16 in cash at the time of application
All fees are payable in Polish zloty at the current Consular rate of exchange.
