Our New Accessible Embassy (18/09/2009)
On 17 September the Embassy received a visit from two members of the Polish Coalition of NGOs on Disability, Anna Wozniak-Szymanska, also Chair of the Polish Association for Blind People and Piotr Pawłowski, Chair of Friends of Integration (Towarzystwo Integracji- pictured etc). Our visitors came for a discussion about co-operation with the Embassy, but were delighted that they were able to 'test-drive' our new building's access features, including the lift, accessible washrooms and signage. We are pleased to say that the building received the thumbs up and we look forward to being able to host many more inclusive meetings including participants with disabilities.
