Applying for your UK passport in Poland

You need to read this page and How to apply for a UK passport to have all the information you need to apply for your passport.

Where to apply 

If you live in Poland you should apply for passports at the British Embassy, Consular Section Warsaw.

Passport services at our offices

At our office in Warsaw you can:

  • collect passport application forms, 
  • collect the LS01 form to report your passport lost or stolen, 
  • pay your passport fee in person by cash only, 
  • submit your passport application form in person,

You can also:

  • post your completed passport application form to our office and send fee by a cash postal order.

What to submit

To apply for a UK passport in Poland you are requested to submit:

  • your completed application form 
  • your 2 identical passport photographs 
  • your previous passport 
  • the correct fee in Polish currency.

On examination of the documents by Consular staff you may be requested to submit additional supporting documents.

If you are sending your passport application by post, you must pay the passport fee(s) by a cash postal order (gotówkowy przekaz pieniężny).

Processing your passport application

It takes 10 working days (two weeks) to process your passport application from the date we receive it.

Our staff will not be able to process your application or there may be a delay issuing your passport if:

  • you have used the wrong form or completed it incorrectly 
  • you do not provide the correct fee 
  • you do not include the correct photographs
  • you fail to submit the correct supporting documents when requested.
