Religion Issues

Royal opening for World Jewish Relief Krakow Jewish Community Centre

The opening of the new Jewish Community Centre (JCC) by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

The British Embassy takes an interest in religious development in Poland, particularly in the context of increasing religious and ethnic diversity.

Interfaith relations and the rights of religious minorities are an important element of the FCO's work on Human Rights.

We have regular contact with Polish faith leaders. Recent activity includes:

  • Visit of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall to Krakow to open a Jewish Community Centre
  • Visit of a cross-party group of UK Members of Parliament organised by the All Party Parliamentary Group Against Anti-Semitism and the Holocaust Eduction Trust.
